Branding: The Way Back
This branding project is a proposed solution for a Denver-based restaurant, The Way Back. After researching competition of similarly focused restaurants in the area, brainstorming through word association helped begin the sketching and ideation process for creating a logo. Studying various type solutions and re-working sketches of logos, and combining the two led to the chosen combination for expressing the brand's goals:
The Way Back seeks to provide a space for exploring new culinary experiments, and creating connection and community. To serve food grown locally, and to practice sustainability in their resources, as well as their people. To inspire a love of food, where it comes from, and an appreciation for the work to get it from farm to table. To nourish the community's body as well as spirit.
